Located between Puerto Natales and Torres del Paine National Park, Cerro Tenerife is one of the best spots to view the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. This summit hike begins at the base of Tenerife Hill, with an ascent through a forest of ñirres, lengas and coigües, before emerging on a higher open area. From the summit of Cerro Tenerife, you'll enjoy panoramic views to the Southern Patagonian Ice Fields and the Chacabuco mountain range. This 14 kilometre return hike is recommended for experienced hikers with a private guide.
