Day 2

After breakfast, set off on your first guided adventure into the national park, with options ranging from guided hikes to glacier boat trips. We recommend joining a day hike to the ’Torres’ or Towers Base, a section of the W-Trek and the National Park’s namesake. Take in river and valley views as you are led up to the base of the three jagged peaks, which rise above a pale blue glacial lake. This is the ultimate photo opportunity, and there is plenty of time to capture the moment as you break here for a packed lunch. Later, return along the trail to the waiting van and be back at the lodge for a late afternoon drink before your evening meal.

Day 3

Wake well-rested to views of the mountains, and consider your activities for the day ahead. Half and full-day options are available to suit your preference. You might like a gentle walk and wildlife viewing excursion today with a chance to spot Guanacos, pumas and condors. If you are keen to maximise your time hiking in Torres del Paine National Park, French Valley is a well-recommended option for today. Visit the hanging glaciers of the forested ‘Valle Frances’ or French Valley with your Tierra guide, and as a bonus, you will enjoy a boat trip across iceberg-dotted Lake Pehoé to access the trail. Upon your return to the lodge, you may like to unwind in the pool or enjoy a massage treatment to ease any tired muscles. Dinner by the fire is the perfect end to the day.

Day 4

Your final full day at Tierra is an opportunity for one last adventure and we highly recommend incorporating Grey Glacier to complete your Torres del Paine itinerary. One of the most beautiful glaciers in Southern Patagonia, Grey Glacier can be enjoyed on foot or on the water. A popular hiking option is the ‘Puentes Grey’ or Bridges Grey Walk which begins on the northern side of the glacier after a boat trip across the lake and includes dramatic suspension bridge sections offering views over the Patagonian ice field. An alternative is to navigate Lake Grey by catamaran to get up close to the dramatic edge of Grey Glacier. Enjoy lunch at a Pampas Lodge before returning to Tierra this afternoon. However you choose to spend the day, you're sure to be on a high as you reflect on your time in Torres del Paine National Park over a wine tonight.

Day 5

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before setting off this morning for the Chile-Argentina border. The transfer takes about four hours (allowing for time at the border crossing and a brief stop in El Calafate); it is a uniquely scenic drive through the steppe and pampas that characterise the Patagonian landscape. On arrival at EOLO Estancia, you will be taken in by the dramatic views of the vast landscape from the lodge, sure to draw you outside soon after settling in. Consider a gentle walk or horse ride on the Estancia this afternoon and learn about the gaucho way of life from your hosts. Enjoy an exceptional dinner in the dining room tonight, which offers beautiful views over the property.

Day 6

After a breakfast at EOLO, you will depart with your private driver for the transfer to Puerto Banderas. It is here that you board the boat for today's 'three glaciers' gourmet cruise. You will have privileged access to the premium VIP deck, with refreshments including wine served throughout the day. Your cruise on Lago Argentina visits three of the impressive glaciers in the 200-strong Glaciers National Park. First is Spegazzini Glacier, which rises 135 meters above sea level; Upsala Glacier is next and covers an entire valley with an approximate extension of 765 square kilometres; and finally, Perito Moreno Glacier is a fitting end to the day. Here you have the chance to witness spectacular walls of ice crashing into the lake as the glacier wall ruptures from its constant movement forward. Lunch with local wines is served onboard the cruise where you can dine while watching the icebergs float by. Your driver will be waiting to return you to EOLO upon disembarking, for a final night at the Estancia.

Note: Alternative activity options are available today including a glacier hike at Perito Moreno Glacier or a cruise/hike to Upsala Glacier at Estancia Cristina. Day 7

There is time for a walk on the grounds this morning, or perhaps you'll be content to enjoy the view from the deck over a leisurely breakfast. Your journey concludes with a transfer from EOLO to the airport in El Calafate this morning. Please note extension options to El Chalten, Mendoza and other locations are available and easily combinable with this journey.
