Fiordland Jewel is a purpose-built catamaran designed for the waters of Milford Sound and sleeping just 18 guests in nine ensuite cabins. This overnight Milford cruise showcases the waterfalls and peaks of Milford Sound with Mitre Peak and Bridal Veil Falls two of the special sites visited. All meals are included onboard, with dinner a chance to meet fellow guests and enjoy the night sky views. Kayaking, tender boat excursions and soaking in the outdoor hot tub are other highlights of this truly unique Milford Sound experience.

Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

You'll make your way to Milford Sound by road or helicopter today, with the option to land directly on Fiordland Jewel's helipad for a special arrival. Your Milford cruise departs in the afternoon and begins with scenic cruising of the fiords and inlets of Milford Sound, known for its dramatic mountain peaks and waterfalls. Enjoy privileged access to front row views of Mitre Peak, Mt Pembroke, Bridal Veil Falls and other sites in this World Heritage Site. Later there is time to kayak off the back of the boat (conditions permitting) or you may like to relax and enjoy a drink onboard before dinner. Enjoy local seafood with tonight's three course meal, and perhaps an evening soak in the hot tub on the deck after dinner.
