Enjoy lunch here while admiring the views of Fitz Roy and Glaciar de los Tres, and explore the lakeshore and views over the adjacent valley and Lago Sucia. Later return to the trailhead to conclude your hike back at El Chalten, where you’ll be dropped to camp. After ascending 500 metres over the course of the morning, you will be able to see the adjacent river valet and the often-hiding peaks lying beyond Cerro Fitz Roy. The icebergs floating in the glacial lake at the top of today’s guided walk are a sight to behold and a great spot to enjoy lunch. Later continue along the trail back to El Chalten, arriving at camp late afternoon.
