Discover the glaciers and icebergs of Los Glaciares National Park from a unique perspective, cruising Lago Argentino in luxury on board MV Santa Cruz for three days and two nights. Purpose-built to navigate narrow, icy channels and weave between the moving icebergs, enjoy gourmet cuisine on board as the wild and beautiful landscape unfolds before you. The journey includes guided offshore hikes along glacier bases and through the Patagonian-Andean forest, and you will view towering glaciers including Upsala and Perito Moreno Glacier among other highlights.           Day-by-Day Itinerary

          Day 1

          Following a short transfer from El Calafate, board Santa Cruz in the late afternoon at private dock “La Soledad” in Puerto Banderas. As the small ship sets sail for Alemana Bay, meet new friends over drinks and enjoy a delicious gourmet dinner at the onboard restaurant before retiring to your private ensuite cabin.

          Day 2

          After breakfast, explore Puesto de las Vacas, an old Patagonian ranch in the heart of the National Park and enjoy a walk through the pristine sub-polar forest. Lunch is served on board with Spegazzini Glacier as your backdrop before setting sail towards Upsala Glacier, the largest in South America. In the afternoon, the ship lands at Seno Mayo in Toro Bay where you'll disembark for a hike to a waterfall, pausing along the way to take in spectacular views and discover unique flora only found in this region, one of the most humid areas of Los Glaciares National Park.

          Day 3

          Disembark for a morning hike through the Patagonian Andean forest with views of the Mayo and Negro Glaciers. Before lunch, the ship heads to the Canal de los Tempanos (Iceberg Channel) on the way to the Perito Moreno Glacier. Marvel at this spectacle of nature while enjoying a delicious lunch accompanied by Argentinean wines. In the afternoon, walk along the Glacier’s northern walkways before Santa Cruz sets sail back to Marpatag's private dock for the transfer to El Calafate, arriving by 5pm.
