Your guided walk begins with a 9km four-wheel drive journey across Estancia Cristina, from where you begin the trek to Upsala Glacier Lookout Point. The imposing eastern front of Upsala Glacier and the South Patagonian Continental Ice Field is visible from here, as well as Lago Guillermo. After taking in the views, continue on a 12km trek over Fossil Canyon, an area with a great concentration of unique marine fossils, geological treasures left uncovered after the passage of the ocean long ago. After lunch, finish with a pleasant walk down Estancia Valley to Lago Argentino. To access the walk, we include return boat transfers from Puerto Banderas across Lago Argentino to Estancia Cristina. Sailing on the water you will spot icebergs and experience a new perspective of Patagonia's glaciers and mountains.
