Perth is known for its sunny skies and beautiful beaches, with Rottnest Island a favourite holiday spot for locals and visitors alike. The recently completed Wadjemup Bidi trail on Rottnest Island provides some scenic walk options to help you discover the pristine bays around the Island. We rate Kings Park as one of Australia’s best picnic spots, with its shady green lawn and botanical gardens overlooking the Swan River and Perth city skyline. There are several great short walks you can enjoy in Kings Park and you can ride or stroll here from Perth’s best hotels. The food scene in Perth is modern and constantly evolving, with new small bars and dining rooms popping up at a rapid rate in recent years.
