        Day 4

Your driver will collect you after a leisurely breakfast this morning for your transfer to Perth. There is time today for an optional visit to the town of Dunsborough, Simmo's ice creamery or the Margaret River Chocolate Factory, or perhaps a cheese maker for some final tastings. Your driver will tailor this morning's activities to suit your preferences. Arrive in Perth early this afternoon and check in at COMO The Treasury. We recommend a swim in the 20-metre indoor pool before a free evening to dine onsite at Post Restaurant, Petition Kitchen or Long Chim; otherwise, a range of dining venues in Perth’s city centre are within walking distance.

        Day 5

Enjoy a beautiful breakfast complete with cooked-to-order main, barista coffee and fresh pressed juices. Today is free to enjoy Perth as a family. We recommend cruising across the Swan River to South Perth, perhaps visiting the zoo or stopping for a coffee on Mends Street. Later, a visit to Kings Park is a must. The park and botanic gardens overlook the city and the river, and the views from the expansive lawn area offer an idyllic picnic location, so consider lunch here (cafes at Kings Park offer takeaway). After an afternoon swim or visit to the Como Shambhala Spa, you’ll be collected for your night out in the port city of Fremantle. Your driver will offer recommendations and drop you at a suitable venue for dinner - fish and chips on the wharf, wood-fired pizzas from an Italian Restaurant on the buzzing cappuccino strip, or fine dining overlooking the water are all options - and you’ll have time to wander the vibrant cappuccino strip before returning to your hotel.

        Day 6

After another breakfast at Post Restaurant, you’ll be collected by a shuttle from your hotel and taken to board your ferry to Rottnest Island. The 1.5 hour cruise takes you down the Swan River past the golden circle of Perth’s wealthier homes before passing Fremantle and crossing the ocean to dock at Rottnest mid-morning. Collect your bikes when you disembark, and the rest of the day is yours to cycle and swim your way around this beautiful island. Quokkas are everywhere so the kids are sure to love spotting them as you visit one picture-perfect bay after another. We recommend visiting the bakery or a café in the main town settlement to collect a fresh lunch to enjoy by the water. Later be sure to visit Hotel Rottnest for a glass of wine on the shady grass overlooking Thomson Bay. There is often live music here and the kids will be happy to play on the sand while you relax and take in the views. Your ferry returns to Perth late afternoon, with another free evening tonight to enjoy Perth’s best restaurants on your doorstep.
