Margaret River & South-West

Overview
Margaret River is part of WA's South-West edge, a world-recognised biodiversity hot spot, and home to some of Australia’s best beaches, walks and wineries. Bordered by the Indian and Southern Oceans, which meet at Cape Leeuwin, this is where we operate our award-winning Cape to Cape Walk. The Cape to Cape Track starts 123 km north at Cape Naturaliste and runs alongside Margaret River’s stunning coastline taking in tall timber forests, pristine beaches, limestone caves and vibrant rocky headlands. The popular surf spot of Yallingup - recently named Australia's best town by Australian Traveller - offers great cafes, beaches, wineries, and premium beachfront accommodation.
Margaret River’s vineyards are a constant backdrop to days spent swimming, hiking and mountain biking through this nature-rich region. Established local wine leaders like Vasse Felix and Leeuwin Estate operate alongside up-and-coming boutique vineyards producing world-class Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignon and other varietals. Margaret River is also home to many acclaimed providores, farm producers and artisans. This region produces everything from award-winning olive oils and cheese to hand-crafted beans and chocolate.
Further south-east, Albany and Denmark are popular holiday spots with great wineries and hiking trails including Bald Head and the Bibbulmun Track.
