The hike to Mount Rundemanen begins with a scenic ride on the Fløibanen Funicular (one of Bergen’s most popular tourist attractions) up to the top of Mount Fløyen, offering panoramic views over the city of Bergen and fjords below. From here, the trail winds through forested terrain and peaceful mountain lakes, including the idyllic Skomakerdiket lake, gradually climbing to the second-highest peak of Bergen’s seven surrounding mountains, Mount Rundemanen. With a variety of well-marked paths to suit different fitness levels, this privately guided hike rewards walkers with sweeping alpine vistas and a serene mountain atmosphere.
