Enjoy the ultimate hideaway immersed in nature at Hotel Puerto Blest, a boutique lodge set on the peaceful shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi near San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentinian Patagonia. Only accessible by boat, Puerto Blest reopened after a major refurbishment in 2015, which lovingly retained the architectural style and historical charm of the original hotel, built in 1904. Guest rooms offer a cosy sanctuary and wonderful views after a day of exploring the winding nature trails or sailing on the lake. Two onsite restaurants, a guest lounge, and a dedicated relaxation area with a heated plunge pool complete the experience. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay before continuing your Patagonian Lakes Crossing, or stay a little longer to make the most of Puerto Blest's stunning natural landscape and unique Valdivian rainforest surrounds.

Location & Access

Hotel Puerto Blest is located 25 km from Panuelo Port in the city of San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina. It can only be accessed by sailing Nahuel Huapi Lake from the port, or via the Andean Lakes Crossing between Chile and Argentina. Lake transfers are included as part of our private journeys.
