Russell Falls is arguably Tasmania’s prettiest and most photographed waterfall, with two main waterfall drops framed by tall fern trees. Located in Mount Field National Park within Tasmania's World Heritage Wilderness Area, Russell Falls is accessed via a 20 minute return walk follows a boardwalk trail through swamp gums and species typical of wet forests and cool temperate rainforests such as dogwood, musk and myrtle. A further short walk through the rainforest will reward you with views of Horseshoe Falls, another must-see attraction in Mount Field National Park.
