Overview

Split Apple Retreat is a luxury lodge and wellness retreat located on the doorstep of Abel Tasman National Park. It is hard not to relax here, with a range of wellness therapies on offer from massage (reiki, acupuncture, reflexology) to yoga (Hatha, Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa) and meditation. Accommodation options include three spacious suites, each with super king bed and private deck overlooking the ocean. Japanese baths are a special touch in two of the suites, and complement the Japanese gardens. Other wellness facilities at the Retreat include a saltwater infinity pool, infrared sauna and steam room. Dining is focused on local foods which nourish the body and soul with Chef Pen presenting a tasting menu each evening. She is also available for cooking lessons for guests keen to learn new recipes to take home. Activity options at Split Apple Retreat include kayaking and hiking the Abel Tasman Coastal Track, helicopter excursions to beautiful beaches, and Marlborough winery experiences. Location & Access

Located at the northern end of Abel Tasman National Park, about 1 hour drive from Nelson. You can access the Retreat by helicopter direct to the onsite helipad from Nelson (15 minutes) or Wellington (1 hour). Direct air transfer from Bay of Many Coves Resort is also available if combining Abel Tasman and Queen Charlotte walks.
