Mt Sturgeon is located in the southern-most part of Grampians National Park near the town of Dunkeld. The Mt Sturgeon summit walk is a rewarding but challenging 7 km return hike which includes some rock hopping and steep inclines before arriving at the top where walkers can enjoy the panoramic views over the national park and neighbouring farmlands. You’ll descend with a sense of accomplishment and eager to take on more of the Grampians famous peaks. Nearby Mt Abrupt and Piccaninny Walk are also great Southern Grampians walk options.
