The Kings Canyon Rim Walk is one of Australia's best day walks and a must-do hike while visiting the Red Centre. Located in Watarrkah National Park, Kings Canyon is understood to be 440 million years in the making, and the canyon walls rise 270 metres above seal level. The 3-4 hour rim walk lets walkers discover the area on foot and take in a birds eye view of the canyon walls and valley below. During the walk, be sure to take the extension walk option to visit the Garden of Eden to enjoy the incredible bird life and calm water on the valley floor.

This is a great walk option with any itinerary travelling from Uluru to Alice Springs.
