The iconic Pinnacle walk is a highlight of any visit to the Grampians National Park. The trailhead is accessed from Halls Gap near Mackenzie Falls, which is also definitely worth a visit. Depending on the route taken, the Pinnacle walk can be as short as an hour or as long as 3-4 hours. Upon reaching the summit, you’re rewarded with stunning views of Halls Gap and the many peaks of the Grampians. The walking itself is interesting with rocky boulders and chasms to clamber through and beautiful views of the surrounding valleys as you climb to the summit. After your walk, spend some time in the pretty town of Halls Gap where you’re sure to spot some kangaroos and can support local businesses by enjoying lunch here.
