            Day-by-Day Itinerary

            Day 1

            Please note: This cruise also operates in reverse for selected departures - in those cases a modified version of this itinerary applies.

            Start your journey with a courtesy collection from your Broome accommodation around lunchtime to arrive at MV Ocean Dream to depart mid-afternoon. Begin with a refreshing drink as we cruise past Cable Beach, famous for its aquamarine water, camels and beautiful sunsets. Sit back and relax as you enjoy your first gourmet dining experience and meet your fellow passengers. The vessel will continue to steam north along the Dampier Peninsula and past Cape Leveque as you sleep through the night.

            Day 2

            Today you'll head to Silica Beach, located on Hidden Island, one of the 800 islands of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Named after the high content of Silica in the sand, the beach offers a scenic spot to embark for swimming this morning. Later enjoy an expedition up Crocodile Creek with a freshwater swim in a spring fed waterhole. Anchorage overnight takes place in one of the many beautiful creeks here.

            Day 3

            The Horizontal Falls are one of the natural wonders of the Kimberley and, today, guests have the option of taking a fast boat ride through the falls and a scenic flight for an aerial view. Next take a tender vessel excursion up Cyclone Creek for some wildlife spotting on land and in the water, as we pass-by, on our journey to explore some incredible rock formations that were created billions of years ago.

            Day 4

            The morning is spent exploring Doubtful Bay and the fascinating spectacle of Montgomery Reef. Witness as 400 square kilometres of coral reef appears to rise out of the water on the falling tide, creating hundreds of cascading waterfalls as the water rushes off the reef. The reef attracts an abundance of marine life including turtles, manta rays, dugongs, dolphins, crabs and fish. Canapes and drinks at sunset on the bow of Ocean Dream will top off an incredible day of adventure.

            Day 5

            Wake up to yet another beautiful Kimberley day and after a delicious breakfast on board, we head off to explore the highlights of Camden Sound. Discover Sheep Island and learn the history behind the failed white settlement at Camden Harbour in 1864. Keep an eye open for shipwrecks, grave sites and archaeological findings. The protected bays of Camden Sound are the ideal location for the thousands of humpback whales who arrive between June and September each year to breed, calve and nurse their young.

            Day 6

            Fishing enthusiasts will delight in the day’s activities as you hunt for the elusive Barramundi. In the afternoon, the crew will take you on a tender vessel excursion up the Sale River and if tides are right, hike through a rainforest for a refreshing dip in a freshwater pool. Back on the vessel, the chef will prepare all freshly caught fish for a sensational seafood feast.

            Day 7

            Your final day starts with a delicious breakfast and say your goodbyes to the crew before you depart Ocean Dream by tender and step back on land at Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm. Learn the fascinating history of pearling as you are guided through their fully operational pearl farm on a one-hour tour. Take in your final view of the bright orange sand and stunning blue water in the bays of the region over a Barramundi lunch before departing back to your Broome accommodation.
